Teaching and notes on "Women in the Talmud".
Point of clarification:
After review of the video I want to be sure that it's understood that a woman whose husband had disappeared and died required a "Get" document. Not all widows were required to produce a "Get". If it could be proven he was dead, no Get was needed. But ALL women whose husbands had deserted even if dead, required a get in order to remarry.
